Dental implant
A dental implant is a permanent replacement for missing teeth that looks natural and provides full function. During a consultation, the area is examined, and a panoramic X-ray is taken to assess bone quality and the possibility of placing an implant. You will also receive a cost estimate and information about financing options, such as installment plans or full payment.

Have you just had a consultation and are wondering how the entire process works with us at Mun Dental?

What is a dental implant?
Have you lost one or more teeth and are looking for a long-lasting solution? Dental implants can be an excellent option to restore both function and appearance. At Mun Dental, we have extensive experience with implant treatments and use modern techniques to provide you with a natural and durable result.
Losing teeth can affect everything from chewing ability to appearance and self-confidence. By replacing missing teeth, you can improve your quality of life and reduce the risk of further bite-related issues.
A dental implant is a permanent solution that can last a lifetime. The treatment involves surgically placing a small titanium screw into the jawbone to serve as a new tooth root. A crown or bridge is then attached to this screw, providing a natural-looking and functional tooth.
How does the process work?
1
Consultation and Examination
We start with a thorough examination to determine if dental implants are the right treatment for you. X-rays are taken to assess the quality of the jawbone, and we discuss your wishes and individual conditions.
2
Surgery – Implant Placement
The next step is the surgical placement of the titanium screw into the jawbone. This is done under local anesthesia and is usually a painless procedure. After the surgery, the implant is left to integrate with the bone, which takes a few months.
3
Placement of the permanent crown/tooth
Once the implant has integrated with the jawbone, the artificial tooth – either a crown, bridge, or denture – is attached depending on your needs. We customize the appearance and color so that the new tooth blends naturally with your existing teeth.
